Why choose concrete curbing over other choices of landscape borders/edging?
Concrete curbing is far more durable than other choices. Steel will rust, wood will rot, and plastic will crack. Concrete curbing is far superior to keeping your grass from invading your landscapes and keeping your rocks or mulch in your beds where they belong. Concrete will have no seams all the way through the curb where grass can grow between. It is the best boundary to keep rock or mulch in your beds and out of your yard.
Will the curbing equipment damage my property?
No, all of our equipment is on the smaller side, no larger than basic lawn equipment. We will treat your landscape like it’s our own. We promise to leave your landscape looking better than when we showed up!
Is the curb stained or painted?
Neither! We use integral colors mixed in with the concrete mix. This is a huge benefit, if the concrete were to ever chip it is colored throughout the curb. We also use colored release agents to achieve the gorgeous undertones of the curb.
Will it crack?
Our mix is engineered specifically for landscape curbing, not slabs or sidewalks, thus reducing shrinkage and stress that cause cracks. Concrete can and will crack, however with the placement of control joints, if a crack occurs it should occur in the control joints where you won't see it. This is where the stainless steel cable comes in and keeps it rom moving, shifting or separating.
How long does landscape curbing last?
Concrete curbing will last many years with proper care and maintenence (20-30+). One of the biggest enemies of concrete is moisture. To combat this we use a commercial grade solvent based concrete sealer to protect and beautify your curb. To help ensure a long lasting beautiful curb we recommend resealing every 1-2 years. This can easily be done by the homeowner but if you prefer we can set you up on a maintenence program!

Are all landscape curbs created equal?
No! A good curb install begins with a good ground preparation, not everyone starts there. There are also different size molds that create the curb. We use a 6x5 mold which equates to a thicker and stronger curb than other molds used. We use different chemicals in your mix for additional strength such as fiber mesh, plasticizers and air entrainment agents. Finally the use of stainless steel cable in the curb is a huge difference in the longevity and appearance of your investment.
Do you use regular concrete from a concrete truck or bags?
We don't use off the shelf concrete. We design our won mix specifically for decorative landscape curbing, because generic mixes fail.. Our custom blend is engineered for strength and durability not mass production. It reduces cracking and holds its shape and finish far better than standard concrete used by most companies.
How much does landscape curbing cost?
